These are essentially determined by three factors: the fodder, ready-to-lay pullet costs and the workload. We can influence the latter and therefore place the highest value on efficient work, regardless of whether these are daily or periodic activities. Many processes are automated in Steiner mobile barns. One important example is electric manure removal. Thanks to a smart algorithm, the animals can be weighed virtually while passing by. This provides a very good overview of the average animal weight of the flock. Manual weighing is no longer necessary. An ideal animal weight contributes significantly to the well-being and health of the
