Low workload
Making your operations worth-while
The focus is on the costs per egg. These are essentially determined by three factors: the fodder, ready-to-lay pullet costs and the workload. We can influence the latter and therefore place the highest value on efficient work, regardless of whether these are daily or periodic activities. Many processes are automated in Steiner mobile barns. One important example is electric manure removal. This reduces the daily workload to checking the flock and removing eggs.
Targeted illumination of the barn with LED lighting to avoid dark zones, as well as easy access, guide the hens to the nest area.
From there, the eggs roll onto the egg conveyor and are transported to the entrance area during daily egg collection.
The integrated animal scales enable constant weight control of the laying hens. Thanks to a smart algorithm, the animals can be weighed virtually while passing by. This provides a very good overview of the average animal weight of the flock. Manual weighing is no longer necessary. An ideal animal weight contributes significantly to the well-being and health of the flock.
Easy to use
The clear and logical structure of the housing computer TOUCH and the simple operation, as well as the full control of all relevant management data, enable efficient work.
Teamwork
The spacious design of the spaces and the separate entrance area allow for easy and well-organised work.
Integrated reporting
The complete recording of all relevant flock parameters makes it very easy to prepare reports for regional inspection bodies.
