We are pleased to introduce our new PICCO mobile barn – the smallest of Steiner’s mobile barns, but by no means less comfortable for its operators and occupants. The PICCO mobile house fits seamlessly into the series of innovative and durable mobile solutions for keeping chickens.
With a width of 3 metres, the PICCO mobile barn is roadworthy and can therefore be easily moved from one meadow to the next without a permit.
Animal welfare and practical operation are the focus of the PICCO mobile barn. It offers space for up to 400 chickens in conventional farming and up to 350 chickens in organic farming. Despite its smaller design compared to its larger brothers, it has an anteroom, a feed silo and the TOUCH housing computer. With this, climate, ventilation, water and feed can be conveniently controlled from a tablet or mobile phone. The feed silo integrated in the anteroom offers space for 20 days of feed to ensure a continuous feed supply.
