Sustainability in practice
Integrated photovoltaics
The roof of Steiner mobile barns can easily be used as an energy source by installing photovoltaic panels. On the one hand, this makes an important contribution to reducing CO2 emissions and, on the other hand, enables the independent operation of your mobile barn. Since the entire energy management is already integrated into the control system, no additional work is required.
The supply of the mobile barn is ensured around the clock with the energy generated in the process. The integrated batteries store the electricity generated from the sun and supply your mobile barn during the night. In order to be able to guarantee a secure power supply even in the winter months when there is little daylight, it is possible to charge the batteries using an external power supply or an emergency generator. This is done automatically by the TOUCH housing computer.
